Cost of Therapy

I understand that financial planning is an important part of the decision to begin therapy. Therapy is an investment of not only your time and energy, but of money. There are three categories of paying for therapy: self-pay, using health insurance benefits, or sliding scale. (1) The self-pay cost for sessions can be seen below. It is most appropriate to choose self-pay if you want complete privacy, and have only growth-oriented concerns. (2) The rate using health insurance benefits are determined by your individual plan, whether you have a co-pay or are responsible for a portion of the cost. You must present with medical necessity in order to use your mental health benefits through insurance. (3) I do have a limited number of spots available for a sliding scale rate. If you think you may qualify for a sliding scale, please reach out to apply. Billing is run through Simple Practice or Headway to protect your confidential information.

  • Initial Diagnostic & Intake Session: $180

  • 60 Minute Session (50-55 min talking, 5 min for notes): $165

  • 45 Minute Session (40 min talking, 5 min for notes): $125
